In many people, this can present as greater sense of clarity and ease within their lives as well as supporting the body's self-healing capacity. Please bring what you would need to be comfortable laying on a hardwood floor in stillness for up to 45 minutes: including multiple yoga mats (for cushioning) or a thick cushioned mat, blankets, pillows, eye pillow, etc. At minimum most people will need 1+ yoga mats and pillow beneath head, rolled blanket beneath knees and blanket for covering to be comfortable. Each Monday evening in May join us to release stress and tension, while discovering the cumulative effects of a regular relaxation practice. Himalayan singing bowls assist the body, mind and spirit to remember a harmony within: Realization of this harmony allows for deep relaxation and renewal. Hour sessions will include a brief overview and discussion followed by a 45 minute Sound Bath from Himalayan singing bowls. Bring any additional props (eye pillows and/or any favorite pillow or blanket) to allow comfort during 45 minutes of stillness. Bolsters and blankets provided by Razz Yoga. Join us for a day of wellness in support of environmental protection. In addition to the listed classes, stop in to get a chair massage, purchase a raffle ticket, a piece of art from our Baltimore Arts & Crafts table or sample some free snacks & tea. ∇ 11am- 12:15 Chakra Balancing & Meditation Incorporating stretching, discussion, meditation, & grounding practices, Sarah Strahorn will guide participants to both gain awareness of the chakras and initiate a chakra cleansing. ∇ 1pm- 2:15pm 5 Elements Yoga Led by Meghan Charles this class will explore the 5 elements of nature (earth, water, fire, air, and space) through yogic postures, breath work, mantra & meditation to help deepen our connection to ourselves and the planet. ∇ 2:30 – 3:45pm Qi Gong Guided by Acupuncturist Diana Keener, practice Qi Gong forms that focus on refining the quality of earth within our bodies with the intention of protecting the earth. ∇ 4-5pm Sound Bath Himalayan singing bowls will bathe the space with their gentle vibrations allowing for deep relaxation and a rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit.
